Barton Creek Country Club

Parking

Park in the member parking lot and garage located in front of the clubhouse. As you enter the club’s main drive, take the first driveway on the left. This leads to member parking + garage parking under the tennis courts. Follow the walkway to the pool through the circular golf cart area.

Please do NOT park in the lot by the pool. No parking is allowed in the fire lanes

Where to Sit

Our attendees can stand on the covered patio area for viewing. There is limited seating. 

Ready Bench

Ready bench is for swimmers only. The spectator side of the pool deck is the best place to cheer for your swimmers!

Baby Pool

For health and safety reasons absolutely NO swimming in the baby pool.

Food & Drinks: No Cash

• Dinners/snacks: a la carte grille items will be available as well as a range of snacks/candy for purchase.
• Drinks: sodas, water, Gatorade, and full bar will be available.
• Please note the club does not take cash! Credit or debit cards only.

Clean-Up

We are ALL eager to leave at the end of a meet but please be respectful of the club staff and volunteerings parents.  Please clean the area where you and your swimmers were seated. This includes picking up all of the trash that you see. Thank you! 

Parking

Always check the meet documents on the websiteand emails for any particular instructions having to do with the away team’s parking.

Arrival & Check-In

Arrive NO LATER than 4:00 pm. Factor in driving time and finding parking, unloading and walking. Warm ups are usually at 4:20 pm. Check in with the BC Sharks volunteers at the check-in tent. (Will differ by pool.) They will check to see if you have your swimmer’s information on them in sharpie and check off that they have arrived (the coaches need this info.)

Warm-ups

Other pools may be meter pools and have different starting blocks. It is ESSENTIAL that your swimmer be in the pool for warm ups to familiarize themselves with the pool.

Where to Sit

Most clubs have an observation deck and minimal seating. Your child must remain in the heating area for their scheduled event.  If your child isn’t in heating or this area they may miss their event. 

Volunteers

Listen for meeting times and locations at other pools. They will be announced over the PA system.

Clean-Up

Before leaving the meet, please be respectful of the hosting team and ALWAYS clean the area where you and your swimmers were seated. Thank you!
